Is This You?

Who Is This For?

Who This Is For:

  • You own a service business doing $1M or more a year: a consulting firm, an agency, a law or professional practice, or a trades company.
  • Your return gets filed every spring, but nobody plans anything with you before December 31st.
  • You made the S corp election years ago, and the salary you pay yourself was picked once and never revisited.
  • Your books get caught up right before they're due, so nobody sees the year until it's already over.
  • You find out what you owe in April, and sometimes you've had to dip into savings to pay it.
  • You'd rather hand off the books, the projections and the filings than handle them yourself.

This Is Not For:

  • Employees who don't own a business.
  • Owners whose business does under $1M a year.
  • Anyone looking for aggressive tax positions instead of the rules applied correctly.
  • Anyone who wants a full back office to pay their bills and chase their invoices.
  • Anyone who only wants a return filed each spring.

100% Done-For-You

Here's Everything We Do For You

How Melissa and her team handle your books, your taxes and your structure through the year.

We Keep Your Books Current

We do your bookkeeping monthly or weekly inside the QuickBooks Online or Xero file you already own, so every tax decision comes from real numbers.

We Project This Year's Taxes

We project your federal and state taxes from your actual results in the fall, while there's still time before December 31st to change them.

We Set Up The Right Structure

When an S corp makes sense for you, we form your LLC or corporation, prepare and file IRS Form 2553 and handle the compliance that comes after it.

We Set A Defensible Salary

We run a detailed reasonable compensation study based on your role, your industry and what your business supports, and we document the reasoning behind the number.

We Plan Your Estimated Payments

We cover the early months with IRS safe harbor estimates, then plan next year's payments, so you know roughly what you'll owe about 6 months before it's due.

We Prepare Both Returns Together

We prepare your business and personal returns together, file them electronically and walk you through what was filed, so every change shows up where it should.

Still On The Fence?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to replace my bookkeeper or my accountant?+
Not necessarily. If your books are accurate and up to date, we work from them as they are, and if they're behind, we'll tell you what needs fixing first. We usually prepare your business and personal returns together, because the business return flows into your personal one. If you'd rather keep part of it with someone else, we'll talk through what that means before we agree to anything.
Why hasn't my current preparer brought any of this up?+
A preparer's job is to report the year accurately, and a return can only report decisions that were already made. Our job is to change the year before it gets reported, which means working your numbers before December 31st. Those two jobs can sit side by side.
Will my S corp salary hold up if the IRS asks?+
The IRS expects you to pay yourself what you'd pay someone else to do your job. We run a reasonable compensation study on your role, your industry and what your business supports, and we put the reasoning in writing. Good tax work isn't about being aggressive. It's about applying the rules correctly and keeping the support behind every decision.
Is it too late to lower my 2026 taxes?+
No, but the calendar matters. Most of the moves that shape your 2026 return, like your owner pay, entity changes and strategic purchases, have to be in place by December 31st. The fall is when your numbers are solid enough to act on, and the savings show up when your 2026 return is filed.
Do you pay my bills and run my payroll?+
No. We're not a full back office, so we don't pay your bills or chase your invoices. If you use a payroll provider, they keep running payroll, and we make sure it lines up with your plan and your tax filings.
How much does it cost?+
Our fee is quoted up front on the strategy call, before any work begins. It reflects your entity, the number of states you file in, the condition of your books and the level of support you choose.
Do you work with businesses outside Utah?+
Yes. We're based in Stansbury Park, Utah, and work with service business owners all over the country. Everything runs through a secure online portal and virtual meetings, so your location doesn't matter.
What happens on the strategy call?+
Melissa asks about your business, how it's set up, the salary you take and whether your books are current. Then you get her honest read: if she sees at least $100,000 to save this year, she'll show you where it likely comes from, what we'd do and what it costs. If she doesn't see it, she'll say so.
One Last Step

Ready To See How Much Of This Year's Profit Your Business Can Keep?

On the strategy call, Melissa looks at your business, your structure and the salary you pay yourself. You'll know whether at least $100,000 is realistic and what's still possible before December 31st.
